Chalet Clair – Booking Policy

We want booking with us to be simple and stress-free. Here’s what you need to know:

Deposits & Payments

• A 50% deposit secures your holiday.

• The balance is due on 6th December 2025, or if booked after this date, 8 weeks before arrival.

• If you book within 8 weeks of your stay, we ask for full payment.

Cancellations

• Deposits are non-refundable, however, if you need to cancel your booking and we are able to re-let the chalet for the same dates, we may, at our discretion, refund some or all of the amounts you have paid (excluding any non-recoverable costs or discounts we may have offered to secure the replacement booking). Any such refund will be considered a goodwill gesture and is not guaranteed.

• If you cancel less than 8 weeks before arrival, the full balance is due.

• Please make sure you have travel insurance that covers cancellation, delays, medical care, and winter sports.

Arrivals & Departures

• Check-in: from 16:00 on arrival day

• Check-out: by 10:00 on departure day

• If you need different times, just ask — we’ll help if we can.

Your Stay

• Please look after the chalet and treat it as your own.

• Report any damage or breakages — we may need to charge for repairs.

• No smoking inside the chalet.

Dietary Needs (Catered Stays)

• Let us know your dietary requirements at least 2 weeks before your holiday. We’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Peace of Mind

• In the very unlikely event we have to cancel, we’ll refund everything you’ve paid.

• We cannot accept liability or pay compensation for events outside our reasonable control (including but not limited to: natural disasters, adverse weather, strikes, epidemics/pandemics, travel disruptions, or resort closures).
